Technology is an amazing thing and can be a beacon in the darkness for so many people. It is one of the reasons I find Tech to be so interesting and worth expansion with farther studies and education. I was recently watching a Ted Talks video about technology used to help blind people with daily functions that we take for granted with our sight. The video (Ted Talks - Tech helps the blind) is extremely interesting and warrants a look over by anyone interested in some.

My stance on this technology is it needs to be advanced farther than phone apps and grow to help all blind people across the world. Who doesn't want to be more independent with their life? Who doesn't want to have to ask for help constantly to remain mobile. These are all issues most people do not even think about because we have sight or hearing. This technology could be advanced in many forms and hopefully help hundreds if not thousands of people across the world.
